Reluctance by a neighbouring State to release river water has allegedly left many agricultural regions in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu reel under drought.
Several agricultural and farmers associations have raised their ante against the authorities for their 'failure' to take appropriate steps to get the water released.
This seems to have inspired director Raja Mahesh to churn out 'Thambivudayaan', a movie that throws light of the sufferings of farmers in delta region of Tamil Nadu.
'Thambivudayaan' is about a youth, who is pained by the travails of farmers going hammer and tongs to get the due share of water from the neighbouring State. How he convinces the State machinery to take steps to release water forms the crux…………….
